Top 5 April Anime Picks

Via Animepaper

Today is the first day of spring! That means new anime is right around the corner and April is going to be packed full of new anime! From new series to spinoffs, April is bound to have a few anime that rock the anime scene. Here is a list of the anime that I’m looking forward to the most.

1) Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku — A spinoff of Lucky Star, Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku follows Hinata Miyakawa and her younger sister Hikage and their Otaku life in Tokyo. Hinata Miyakawa appeared as a minor character in 3 episodes of Lucky Star. She works at the Gamers shop that Konata frequently visited and talked about.

2) Yuyushiki — Not much information is available about this one, but it comes from the same manga magazine that K-On! came from, so that makes me excited.

3) Aku no Hana — The preview doesn’t give much information, but the trailer was kinda creepy and mysterious and that makes me want to watch it.

4) Aiura — A 4-panel manga turned anime, Aiura follows three high school girls and their unmotivated lives.

5) RDG: Red Data Girl — It follows Izumiko Suzuhara, a 15 year-old girl who lives at a shrine and whenever she touches an electronic it gets destroyed. Izumiko moves to Tokyo to go to high school when she finds out that she a vessel for a Shinto spirit and is forced to have a warrior as her bodyguard.

Which are you most excited for?

I love Japanese culture, video games, anime, learning new languages, fashion (though I may not show it), reading, doodling and more! Currently a college student hoping to graduate this May. I would love to travel the world with my husband before we have kids and eventually find a job in advertising/marketing preferably with a big electronics corporation. I like to think I'm funny and I love to smile. Please check out my articles on Another Castle: http://thisisanothercastle.com/author/stacyleko37/
