Bungie Clears Up Details About Upcoming DESTINY DLC Content

A subject of concern among gamers in today’s world is the concept of downloadable content, otherwise known as DLC. This refers to content that is meant to further expand the experience of a game, sometimes at a cost, after you already purchased the core game. Sometimes these features are left on the disc itself and this leave gamers feeling cheated that they should have to pay for something that they already paid for. Bungie came out and announced that the upcoming DLC for Destiny is being worked on and also confirmed that the content is not already on the disc.

A few days back, a YouTube video was released showing off parts of future content (which Bungie referred to as placeholders) for Destiny. This was further detailed on a Reddit post which shows off future story missions as well as Strike missions. It’s good to know that there are definitely plans for this game considering the mixed reviews out there. An excuse to shoot and loot accordingly is more than welcome. In regards to the content we can look forward to, Bungie has stated that the DLC is not yet complete and still being worked on.

‘The Dark Below’ refers to one of two DLC offerings that are part of the previously announced Expansion Pass for the game. Meanwhile, we can continue to look forward to events such as “The Queen’s Wrath” (until Oct. 6) and “The Iron Banner” (starts Oct. 7) leading up to the holiday release for some more online fun with friends.
