Stan Lee And Disney Publishing Announce THE ZODIAC LEGACY

Comic Book Resources has reported that Marvel Comics legend and media mogul Stan Lee and Disney Publishing have announced a new illustrated novel trilogy, The Zodiac Legacy, that will begin publication in 2015. Lee, along with co-writer Stuart Moore, artist Andie Tong, executive editor Nachie Marsham, will release the first book, titled The Zodiac Legacy: Convergence, on January 27, 2015.

Speaking on a New York Comic Con panel, Moore and Marsham discussed the plot of the books and the collaboration involved in bringing Lee’s ideas to the page. The first book introduces Chinese-American teenager Steven Lee, who is visiting a Hong Kong museum on a school trip as the book opens. He stumbles upon an experiment by a mysterious group called the Vanguard, led by a man named Maxwell, to harness the power of the Chinese Zodiac.

The second book in The Zodiac Trilogy is scheduled for release in October 2016.
