New DRAGON BALL Z Film Coming In 2015, Key Visual Released

A new Dragon Ball Z film is coming in 2015 and features the return of the series’ most iconic villain, Frieza. Anime News Network reports that a key visual for the film, to be published on Friday in the Japanese manga magazine V Jump, features the legendary action anime’s most famous villain, and Beezus, the villain from the last DBZ film, Battle Of Gods. The new film is titled Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F, with the F meaning”Frieza” and “fukkatsu” for “resurrection.”

ANN also quotes V Jump‘s summary of the film, which says that two of Frieza’s henchmen–Sorbet and Tagoma, who were designed by original creator Akira Toriyama, also credited with the film’s story–come to Earth to revive their leader with the Dragon Balls. The film will be released in Japan on April 18, 2015, in both 2D & 3D. A US release date has not yet been announced.
