The A.V. Club reported on November 24, via The Hollywood Reporter, that 30 theaters nationwide will be showing an 88-second teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens this Thanksgiving weekend. Initially, only nine theaters nationwide were said to be showing the teaser, but the list expanded throughout the day. The full list of 30 was online by 4:30 EST and confirmed by the official Star Wars website.

The list includes select Regal, Cinemark and AMC theaters in 18 states, Washington D.C., Toronto and Vancouver. The teaser will be playing in front of every scheduled screening. said in their announcement that, following this weekend,  “the tease can be seen around the world in theaters this December.” The J.J. Abrams-directed film will be released on December 18, 2015.

    It would be awesome to see the trailer on the big screen, but I would be really frustrated to be unable to rewind and watch it over and over!
