More MORTAL KOMBAT X Kharacters Konfirmed, Includes Jason Vorhees

Mortal Kombat X is coming soon and will be the next-gen debut for the franchise. To make things more exciting, some new challengers have been confirmed for the title. Netherrealm Studios continues to get us hyped up about their upcoming game of blood, gore, and of course, Fatalities.

A recent trailer reveals some new characters along with some story bits. Titled the “Cage Family” reveals Sonya Blade as a playable character. Fans of veteran fighters can rejoice accordingly as one more is added to the impressive roster of old and new fighters for the latest edition of Mortal Kombat. Furthermore, IGN has a list of all the characters confirmed so far and even some characters that are rumored to be in the game.

For the sake of sticking to just the facts, I shall list the confirmed characters here only. They are as follows:

  • Jason Vorhees
  • Sonya Blade
  • Johnny Cage
  • Shinnok
  • Quan Chi
  • Kitana
  • Jax
  • Jacqueline Briggs
  • Takashi Takeda
  • Kung Jin
  • Mileena
  • Ermac
  • Goro
  • Scorpion
  • Sub-Zero
  • Cassie Cage
  • Kung Lao
  • Raiden
  • Kano
  • Reptile
  • Ferra & Torr
  • D’Vorah
  • Kotal Kahn

The roster so far is 22 characters strong with more that are sure to come as we anxiously await the next game in the Mortal Kombat franchise. IGN would confirm some other characters outside of these, such as Smoke and Kenshi, that would only appear in cinematic cut scenes.
