CALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARE DLC ‘Supremacy’ Prepares for Launch on June 2

On May 26, 2015, Activision issued a call to arms preceding the release of the third DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Releasing June 2 on Xbox systems first, the new content pack, dubbed Supremacy, offers four new multiplayer maps that promise to carry players across the world featuring a new Exo Grapple mechanic unique to the DLC. Also included will be a new Exo Zombies campaign with a cameo from the leader of the army of darkness himself, Bruce Campbell.

Parliament, Kremlin, Compound and Skyrise will add new flavor to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with new features and a throw back for fans of the long running series. Fighting outside of London in Parliament, players will be able to rain missiles upon enemies via map-based score streaks. Kremlin pits them against each other just outside of the presidential palace in Russia where a minefield dissects the battlefield, offering a new challenge for attackers and potential for traps. Compound changes up the pace with close quarters combat set in an Atlas training facility tucked away in the Colorado wilderness. And Skyrise, based on the fan favorite from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 similarly named Highrise, will match players against each other atop an Atlas skyscraper overlooking Athens, Greece.

Every cake needs icing. And the icing on this murder cake would be the new Exo Zombies map, Carrier, which features Bruce Campbell joining the previously established zombie killing team of John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal as they attempt to escape an Atlas aircraft carrier. The map will feature new weaponry, enemy Atlas Strike teams, Sentinel support squads and of course swarms, upon swarms, of your favorite ghoulish zombie friends.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – Supremacy is scheduled to launch June 2 on Xbox platforms for $14.99. Of course, the season pass will save you a few bucks, assuming you plan to stick around for all four of the DLC packs. There is no word yet on the PlayStation release but if the trends sticks, we can expect it sometime after two weeks for the same price points.
