E3 2015: BETHESDA Press Conference

With E3 2015 in full-swing, there’s a massive amount of announcements and updates to cover. Kicking it all off on Sunday, June 14 was Bethesda’s press conference, covering everything from the highly anticipated and recently revealed Fallout 4, as well as unveiling the unexpected.


  • Launch Date: TBD Spring 2016
  • Customization: Multiplayer map editor, Snapmap, and customizable matches.

Fallout 4

  • Launch Date: Releasing worldwide on November 10, 2015.
  • Collector’s Edition: Pip-Boy Edition, will include a wearable Pip-Boy replica / stand / capsule case, physical Pip-Boy pocket guide — instructions for your replica, and vault-tec perk poster inside the power armor metal packing.
  • Customization: Build and create your own functioning settlements, customize your weapons and armor, and play as a male or female character.

Dishonored 2

  • Characters: Will include two playable characters: Corvo, our protagonist from the first, and Emily Kaldwin, another ‘Outsider’ with unique abilities similar to Corvo’s.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends

  • Platforms: PC and iPad
  • Launch date: TBD late 2015
  • Genre / Gameplay: Free-to-play strategy card game similar to Blizzard’s Hearthstone.

Fallout Shelter

  • Launch Date: Available now
  • Platform: iPad and iPhone
  • Genre / Gameplay: Strategy / simulation; Build, manage, and defend your very own vault.


  • Access: Beta registration now live at — priority beta sign-up ends June 18; testing limited to New Zealand and Australia until global PC beta access begins in Fall 2015.
  • Genre: Online team-based shooter
  • Gameplay: Third-person team-based shooter similar to the likes of Team Fortress.
