E3 2015: NINTENDO Digital Event

Day 2 of E3 has officially started with Nintendo’s Digital event. Nintendo was not one to back down from Sony and Microsoft, as they had their own surprise announcements and release dates from much-anticipated titles. Let’s get to the recap, shall we?

Starfox Zero (Wii U)

  • Inspired by Thunderbirds TV Show and Miyamoto’s doodles in High School
  • Gameplay Premiere
  • Gamepad cockpit view
  • Arwing transforms into Walker, Land Master, and Gyro Wing
  • Uses Gyro to aim

NX details to come in 2016

Skylanders SuperChargers (Wii U)

  • Turbo Charged Donkey Kong
  • Hammer Slam Bowser, with Magma Bowser form
  • Figurines can be used with both Amiibo and Skylanders

Zelda Triforce Heroes (3DS)

  • Dungeon Crawler
  • Multiplayer Co-op
  • Collect items to create outfits, with abilities
  • Single player, with two doll characters (can switch between them, similar to Four Swords)
  • Available Fall 2015

Hyrule Warriors Legends (3DS)

  • Includes all DLC characters
  • Additional Wind Waker characters
  • Available 1st Quarter 2016

Metroid Prime Federation (3DS)

  • 4 player co-op
  • Includes Metroid Blast Ball
  • Available in 2016

Fire Emblem Fates (3DS)

  • New gameplay
  • Available in 2016

Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensei (Wii U)

  • New gameplay
  • New characters and personas
  • Available in 2016

Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U)

  • New gameplay trailer
  • Available December 4, 2015

Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer (3DS)

  • Amiibo cards
  • Available in September 25, 2015

Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival (Wii U)

  • New Amiibo figurines
  • Available holiday 2015

Yoshi’s Wooly World (Wii U)

  • Plushy amiibo
  • Difficulty depends on player’s play-style
  • Amiibo figurines unlocks skins for Yoshi
  • Poochi returns
  • Available October, 2016

Yo-kai Watch (3DS)

    Get one brotha!! Say what you want about the Wii U, but it still has an amazing library; small, but amazing!
