The Amazing Spider-Man comic is coming back with writer Dan Slott and artist Humberto Ramos late 2014. Comic Book Movie leaked an image of the comic on the cover of All-New Marvel NOW! Previews.
The image has been creating a few rumors as to what the comic will be about. The suit looks more like The Amazing Spider-Man and not the Superior Spider-Man suit. Spidey is even looking happy in the image, which is not normal for the Superior Spider-Man. With no real confirmation about the story we do not know when this will take place during the Spider-Man time line.
The Amazing Spider-Man comic had over 700-issues spanning 1960-2013. The comic temporarily ended on issue 700 with Peter Parker and Doctor Octopus switching bodies. Superior Spider-Man picked up where Amazing left-off, continuing on with Doctor Octopus’ brain transferred into Peter Parker’s body. In December 2013 The Amazing Spider-Man came back for a five issues number 700.1-700.5. The Superior Spider-Man is ongoing.
No matter what the story it will be good to see Amazing Spider-Man coming back with a whole new story line. Many Spider-Man fans were sadden by the ending of episode 700 and with the new The Amazing Spider-Man 2 coming out it looks to be a great time for Marvel to come out with new adventures for the real Peter Parker.
